Ian Smith has been appointed as commercial director of Matthew Clark. This new role has been created to coordinate all sales, purchasing and marketing activities within Matthew Clark, following several years of rapid growth.
Smith has been with Matthew Clark, through its various forms, since 1978, most recently in the role of sales director.
Our purchasing, sales and marketing departments are the envy of the wholesale and distribution industry,' said Smith. In an ever-changing market, we need to be even more focused on the public in order to create the right range, services and commercial offer for our customers.'
