Berkmann Wine Cellars, suppliers to the on-trade, have taken on two new members of staff to their sales and marketing teams.
Karen Hardwick joins in the role of director of national accounts and Sarah Wilson will become brand manager for Australia, New Zealand and California.
Hardwick joins the business with over 21 years' of commercial experience in both the on and off-trade for wines, beers and soft drinks - most recently with Bibendum PLB as national account controller for the off-trade.
In her role with Bibendum PLB, Hardwick led the Morrisons, Co-op, Marks and Spencer, Asda, Waitrose and Ocado accounts.
As national accounts director, she will lead the sales team across both multiple on and off-trade, and implement a central sales strategy.
Sarah Wilson also joins Berkmann from Bibendum PLB, where she spent four years rising from sales operations executive to market insights manager.
As Berkmann's new brand manager, Wilson will focus on the Australian, New Zealand and Californian markets, together with overall category responsibility to deliver growth.
"Karen and Sarah join at a very exciting time, as we continue to win new business from multi-site operators, following the fine-tuning of our proposition in 2016, to provide a quality, bespoke service to hospitality operators," Charles Marshall, Berkmann's commercial director, said.
Berkmann, which held its annual tasting in London last week, has its roots in the restaurant trade going back over five decades.
Over the past year, the company has worked to grow its logistics operations in order to be able to fulfill larger hospitality contracts - including with Cotswold-based group The Calcot Collection and Glenapp Castle in Ballantrae, Ayrshire.
