Bird in Hand joins Seckford for UK partnership

Australian producer Bird in Hand has appointed New World specialists Seckford Agencies to ramp up distribution of their brand across the UK.

The wines will still be available through Tanners, who have distributed the wine in the Shropshire, Cheshire, Herefordshire and North Wales regions, but with more wines now available to the UK, Bird in Hand looking to ex expand further afield with Seckford.

The wines will be officially launched at the Annual Australia Day Tasting on January 24, and will be available to the trade through Seckford thereafter.

Chief winemaker Kym Milne MW will be on the Seckford Agencies table, introducing Bird in Hand Wines visitors.

Bird in Hand has various levels of wine for different market segments.

The entry level is Two in a Bush for which the focus would be off-trade and retail.

The Bird in Hand range is positioned for the in-trade and indies.

Their most premium offering is the Nest Egg range, which are small production and are only available to premium on-trade and specialist independents.
