The wine industry's first ever rock band, Skin Côntact, took the wine trade by storm on last night on stage at London's Islington's O2 Academy to raise money for Wine Relief, the wine trade's fundraising initiative which supports Comic Relief.

The event was sponsored by Côtes du Rhône.
The stars of the evening included the band members Richard Hemming on keyboards, Alex Hunt MW, Berkmann Wines on lead guitar, Ben Smith of Concha y Toro on bass, Matt James founder of The Bordeaux Cellar, on drums. Anne Jones and Millie Baring were the glamorous girls on backing vocals.
The guest lead singers covering classics from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s included Anne Jones, Mark Andrew, Amelia Singer, Alistair Cooper, Sophie McLean, Leah de Felice Renton, Steph Barlow, Tristan Darby, Olly Smith, Guy Woodward and Anne Serres.
