A new specialist wine PR and marketing agency, Eviva, launched this month, with its first event set to take place in October - a large-scale tasting of Italian DOC wines. Eviva's three-strong team consists of Corrina Wilson (ex-account director at Pike PR), Barbara Scalera (former business development director for Harpers and the International Wine and Spirit Competition) and Emma Roberts (former media consultant to the Portuguese Tourist Office). As well as the wine industry, Eviva will also be focusing on restaurant and travel PR. The agency's first main event, the FederDoc tasting of 75 top Italian producers, will take place on 21 October. A seminar will be held to accompany the tasting, with further details announced shortly. Other planned events include The Tastes of Tuscany, a restaurant promotion to be held in conjunction with the Evening Standard, in February 2005. For further details contact (firstname)
