Nicholas Burridge, the founder of Burridges of Arlington St, has died, aged 78.
Nicholas Burridge, the founder of Burridges of Arlington St, has died, aged 78.
The Spanish wine pioneer passed away last month in Santiago de Compostela. He had a heart attack after completing a pilgrim's walk for charity.
Burridges of Arlington St now ships Spanish wine from 25 bodegas and 18 regions.
According to his family, he felt that quality Spanish wine was not always sufficiently appreciated in the UK, which encouraged him to start the business back in 1984.
