Hallgarten, the specialist fine wine company, including Michael Druitt Vintners and Porta Italica Vini, has become the agent for Chteau Ksara, the Lebanese winery. Chteau Ksara claims to be the largest wine company in Lebanon, with seven vineyards spread over 334 hectares in prime sites in the Bekaa Valley. The company also boasts a state-of-the-art winery near Baalbeck and two kilometres of underground cellars. Chteau Ksara produces two million bottles a year and has almost 40% of the domestic market.
