The Snow Grouse and Naked Grouse launch
Two new expressions have landed via The Famous Grouse, distributor Maxxium UK.
They come in the form of the The Snow Grouse described as "the toughest bird in Britain" and The Naked Grouse (rrp £27.69). A first in the industry, The Snow Grouse is especially created to be served straight from the freezer. This blended grain whisky is matured in oak casks before being chill filtered to create a light, delicate and vanilla sweet whisky designed to be served seriously chilled. The Naked Grouse contains a blend of Highland Park and The Macallan, which are slow-matured in first fill sweet sherry casks. Fancy bows and unnecessary boxes have been left behind in order to concentrate on creating a new breed of Scotch that's sherried, ultra smooth and easy to drink, says Maxxium.
