Virgin Wines kicks off consumer tasting tour
Virgin Wines kicked of its first consumer wine tasting event in Wales, which is part of a programme of tastings the online retailer is holding around the country throughout the year.
More than 150 wine lovers attended The St David's Hotel and Spa in Cardiff and tasted their way through around 45 wines, while chatting to Virgin Wines' team of personal wine advisors, buyers and winemakers.
Jay Wright, managing director of Virgin Wines said: "We were delighted to kick off our tasting programme this year by visiting Cardiff for the first time.
"More than 150 enthusiastic customers turned out to support us and it was great to meet them, introduce them to our winemakers and chat to them about their favourite wines.
"We are really pleased with how the evening went and look forward to returning to the city again next year."
Virgin Wines is holding its next wine tasting in Manchester on March 19.
