Online merchant FindWine has launched a 50-strong fine wine portfolio following the success of its Australian Wendouree tasting.
In addition to the Wendouree range, which includes 1992 Cabernet Sauvignon (£100), 1990 Cabernet Malbec (£100) and 1997 Shiraz (£85) the Fine Wine portfolio also includes 1999 Carrudes de Lafite (£185), 1989 Chateau Mouton Rothschild (£185) and 1982 Chateau Leoville Barton (£110). Some of the fine wine portfolio are only available in limited quantities.
FindWine founder Mike Howes said: "The reaction to our Wendouree range has been phenomenal, so it was a natural progression to launch a dedicated Fine Wine section within the website. "
"While the core range will continue to deliver quirky, interesting and unusual wines to our customer base, we also recognise the need to offer our customers the ability to explore some of the real icon wines of the wine world. Many of the wines in the fine wine portfolio are only available through allocation, or have come from the personal cellar of our wine buyer Martin Jeffery, and are therefore only available in extremely limited quantities."
