Harpers Wine & Spirit is calling on the trade to have its say in government proposals to reform alcohol pricing and safeguard health.
This week Harpers Wine & Spirit launches an online survey aimed at all sections of the trade in order to compile a complete picture of the trade's opinions.
Some of the proposals include implementing a ban on below-cost sales, looking at how a minimum price per unit of alcohol could be set and examining whether some "problem" drinks should be taxed at a higher rate than others.
The results will be published in the magazine and used as part of a Harpers Wine & Spirit submission to government around the issues.
