Diageo GB is investing £1.4m in a new TV ad for Pimm's, running from July 1 until the end of August.
The ad emphasises the brand's summertime credentials, featuring characters who represent the ingredients of the perfect Pimm's serve: one part Pimm's and three parts lemonade, with ice, orange, cucumber, strawberries and mint.
Senior brand manager Kshitij Desai said: "Pimm's has been in +15% growth for the last three years, making it the second most valuable brand during summer.
"The new TV ad really emphasises this link between summer and Pimm's, particularly for the social occasions such as BBQs that define the season for us Brits.
"The same fun and light-hearted feel that has come to define Pimm's underpins this ad and we expect it to appeal to a broad range of people, keeping Pimm's front of mind when when they are looking for their summer purchases in-store."
