A big hello from your new editor

Hello,

It's all change here, what with the launch of the brand new TalkingDrinks.com website in place of the old Harpers one. And now, not only do you have a completely revamped website with a whole bunch of new features to play with, you also have a new editor to look after it for you too!

I'm Claire and I'm the new editor of TalkingDrinks.com. I just wanted to take the opportunity to say hello, and to let you know that over the coming weeks and months I will be working my socks off to make sure the new site is all you need it to be.

Although the big relaunch has already happened, I want to make sure the site is improving all the time - so please don't be afraid to let me know what you like and what you might like to see done differently - all constructive criticism will be taken on board.

One thing I'm especially keen to do is to make the site as much of a community as it is a news site - so I want to see you posting your views in the forum section... whether it be about one of our stories or whether you have a burning issue you want to get off your chest. Plus, you can now upload (and get free publicity for!) your own industry events in our events section. Just sign up to register on the site and you can have access to these functions and the many more I hope to be able to introduce over the coming months.

I'll be updating my editor's blog regularly from now on, so you'll be hearing a lot more from me - I hope I'll be hearing a lot more from all of you too.
