The drinks industry is looking to boost its responsible drinking campaign by recruiting a new, independent chair to head the Portman Group.
The industry watchdog is looking for a "heavyweight influencer to help lead alcohol responsibility action and debate".
David Poley, chief executive of the Portman Group, said: "This is the outcome of a strategic review of the organisation by our member companies.
"They are committed to shaping the alcohol responsibility agenda and want us to strengthen our efforts to regulate drinks producers, promote best practice and represent them on alcohol-social issues.
"Having an independent chair will help us build on our achievements and make an even greater impact with opinion formers."
Portman Group member companies are:

Carlsberg UK
