QUALITY FOOD & WINES SHOW COMES TO TOWN

The second Quality Food & Wines trade show takes place on 24 and 25 of January at The Business Design Centre in London. Organiser BCI says that almost 400 French and Italian food and wine producers will be present, and special features will include regional areas for federations, groups and committees, revealing the best of' specific regions or departments of France and Italy. There will be tastings and a series of workshops entitled Working with the UK', with information on the British market, consumer trends, food safety, packaging and merchandising. Pre-registered visitors can plan their visit by logging on to the show's website: www.adhes.com/qfw, where they will have access to a list of the exhibitors, as well as details on the extra events taking place. Harpers will present a seminar on the 24th, from 2pm-3pm, entitled: French and Italian wines: How can they get back to leading the UK market?' Speakers include Tim Atkin MW, David Gleave MW and Jolle Marti.
