Bolney becomes first English magnum to be sold in John Lewis

Published:  06 July, 2017

Bolney Wine Estate has secured a listing with John Lewis for its Blanc de Blancs 2011 (75cl), Blanc de Blancs 2010 (150cl) and the Cuvée Rosé 2014, making it the first English magnum available from the department store.

Rolling out now, the premium sparkling wine will be available from John Lewis’ stores across the country and online.

The Sussex-based producer said it was “absolutely delighted” to be stocked with the retailer.

“Being associated with such a quintessentially British brand is the perfect pairing for Bolney,” said head wine maker, Sam Linter.

The John Lewis listing follows the vineyard’s recent accolades for the The Bolney Wine Estate’s Cuvée Rose 2014. The wine was awarded a Silver medal in the Effervescents du Monde 2016, a silver at Decanter 2017 and a Gold at the Global Rose Masters 2017.

In 2012, Bolney Wine Estate won UK Wine Producer of the Year in the International Wine and Spirit Competition.
