Hallgarten makes five keys appointments

Specialist wine importer Hallgarten Druitt & Novum Wines has started the new year with five new appointments to its sales team.

Joe Wadhams has become regional business development director for the south of England following eight years with Enotria.

He also counts Novum Wines on his resume where he worked with Hallgarten's head buyer, Steve Daniel, and many of Hallgarten's current suppliers.

Howard Corrigan has joined the national accounts team as new business manager to reinforce Hallgarten's presence in the UK on-trade.

Corrigan joins from Vranken-Pommery UK where he was head of sales for the on-trade.

Gerald Chislett becomes national accounts manager, after for four and a half years with Freixenet working with the on-trade.

Tom Burke has been appointed as a regional sales executive working in the Manchester area.

Burke joins the company from Laytons and Majestic, where he held sales roles focusing on contract caterers and independent bars.

Steve Gerrard has been appointed to the role of international sales director to bolster the burgeoning international side of the Hallgarten business.

Gerrard joins the company from Barwell & Jones where he was managing director for four years and previously sales director.

Prior to this, he held lead roles at PLB Group, HwCg and Jackson Estate.

The company said the new recruits signal a long-term commitment to growing the business and partnerships with customers.
