Leading family-owned Rioja winery, Compania Vinicola del Norte de Espana, is to host an exhibition by British scultor Sir Anthony Caro at its Cune Winery in Haro this year.
The exhibition, entitled New Music in New Casks, will feature 23 of Caro's sculptures and will run from March 16 to October 16.
Caro, who died in 2013, is widely regarded as one of the greatest British sculptors of the 20th century.
He began his career working with Henry Moore, and was knighted for his contribution to the arts in 1987.
Maria Urrutia, marketing director at CVNE, said: "We are very excited about exhibiting Sir Anthony Caro's work in our winery and once again combining art with wine.
"Caro was always very articulate about his artistic thought and about sculpture in general. He was a person who reflected on his trade and the sense of sculpture within the artistic human tradition.
"That is why this exhibition in this particular winery, where tradition, innovation, harmony and quality come together, not only in its wines but also in its buildings, is particularly meaningful."
A ticket for the exhibition, including a guided tour of the winery and a tasting of two Cune wines, costs €10 per person.
The cost including a meal at the winery costs €50 per person.
Booking is essential and can be done online here.
Cune is of one of three wineries in Rioja owned by CVNE, the other two being Viña Real and Contino.
Founded in 1879, CVNE has remained in the Real de Asúa family and is now owned and managed by the fifth generation of family members.
Its wines are distributed in the UK by Hatch Mansfield.
