The ground breaking consumer tasting, Cambalache, organised by the Wines of Argentina, is to return in 2014 bringing the culture, music, art, food and wine of Latin America to London's East End.

The event, brought together by Andrew Maidment, UK head of Wines of Argentina, proved to be a breakthrough for how generic wine bodies put on consumer wine tastings and promises to be an even bigger celebration of Argentinian food, wine and culture in 2014 when the event not only returns to London but is also held in New York in for the first time.

Cambalache will once again be held at MC Motors in Dalston over two nights between April 30 and May 1. The 2013 event sold out within hours on social media.

This year's Cambalache will feature more than 120 of the finest wines from 24 Argentininan producers. It hopes to re-create an urban Argentinian street party featuring grafitti artists and musicians along with traditional Argentine barbeques.

It will also include off beat attractions such as a wine and music masterclass by sensory experts, Professors Barry Smith and Charles Spence who promise to "wittily demonstrate the art of matching certain music with wine to enhance its taste".

Argentinian steak restaurant, Gaucho will be hosting a Galante Cocktail Lounge and Ice Cream Union will create an authentic ice cream parlour. There will also be a masterclass to discover more about Fernet Branca, Argentina's signature aperitif.

Cambalache will also look to re-create the hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires' famous San Telmo antiques market complete with market hawker and live folk band.

Tickets costs £40 and are available at www.winesofargentina.com/cambalache
