Charles Taverner and PCA sign up for Big Bike Ride

Published:  09 August, 2013

Charles Taverner, national account manager at Maison Marques et Domaines, is taking part in The Big Bike Ride 2013 - a charity cycle race organised by the Professional Cricketers' Association, for which Louis Roederer is the official Champagne partner.

The 441-mile route starts at Durham County Cricket Club on October 18 and makes its way - via the Test Match grounds of Headingley, Old Trafford and Trent Bridge - to the finish line at Lord's Cricket Ground on October 22.

Fifty cyclists in all will take to the road, including former England cricketers Marcus Trescothick, Darren Gough and Andrew Flintoff, among others.

The cyclists will be raising money for the PCA Benevolent Fund and you can donate here: mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/charlestaverner.
