Liv-ex: Value of trades drops 19% in November 2014

According to the Liv-ex's most recent market report, "the value of trades in November was down 19% on this time last year" signalling the on-going challenge of Bordeaux's most iconic wines continually demanding the historical prices of just a few years ago.

Tesco credit rating in further jeopardy following profit warning

Moody's Investor Services, an international credit rating agency, says Tesco's profit warning "will further increase negative pressure on Tesco's current rating" and that Tesco would remain under review for another possible downgrade.

Champagne wishes: House of Lords fear sub-par fizz

While Pulp's Jarvis Cocker penned the famous refrain 'I wanna live like common people', it's plain that those in the House of Lords do not. They flatly turned down a deal to share catering with the lowly House of Commons for fear the Champagne would not be up to scratch. TescoGate: Three suspended bosses reported to have left Tesco with more to follow

Kevin Grace, group commercial director, Carl Rogberg, UK finance director, and John Scouler, UK food commercial director, three of the executives that were suspended from Tesco following its accounting crisis have left the company, according to a Financial Times report. Other suspended executives, including head of beers, wines and spirits, Dan Jago,could be dismissed next week, according to media reports.

US Black Friday shopping extravaganza takes off in the UK
