Chateau d’Esclans Whispering Angel: Marketing Manager

This is an unprecedented opportunity to join the team at the Domain in Provence. The ideal candidate needs to be both passionate, ambitious and possess an unconditional willingness to take direction for anything within the realm of their general responsibilities. Those responsibilities include but are not limited to handling daily marketing oriented tasks in addition to participating in helping to implement and execute strategic marketing plans for the four-award winning & famous rosés from Sacha Lichine as well as product line extensions.

Our portfolio of successfully branded wines is distributed globally, currently in 107 countries with the U.S. market as its mainstay. The ideal candidate will therefore work with marketing counterparts at Distributors in their respective locations to assist them with their marketing needs. The candidate will also interface with the company’s trade association in Provence and PR agencies (currently based in Paris & New York). The candidate will also work with the company’s web master/ online technician.

Other responsibilities will include participating in the creation and development of promotional literature while procuring articles and features about the wines and Mr. Lichine. There will also be opportunities to solicit and work with journalists on content development about the wines and Mr. Lichine. Excellent writing skills and complete computer literacy including graphic design skills are a must.

The ideal candidate’s native language has to be English and they also need to have a strong command of French making them bilingual. Other prerequisites include holding an undergraduate University degree and having a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in marketing & communications in the wine industry. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to naturally manage relationships on a professional level are key to being successful in this role which requires residing in the vicinity of the Domain located in La Motte en Provence.
