The British Beer & Pub Association has launched a photography competition and exhibition - Pub Life, in support of the British public house.
Taking place over the next three months British drinkers have the opportunity to capture their local as a celebration of the industry which has been facing tough times.
Regulars, amateurs and professionals are invited to enter photographs across six distinct categories.
Brigi Simmonds, chief executive of the British Beer & Pub Association, said: "The British Beer & Pub Association is proud to launch 'Pub Life'.
"We want to encourage local communities to get behind their local pub and support this vital part of British culture and society."
Winners will receive an Olympus camera and their image will be exhibited from May 16-23, at The Old Truman Brewery in East London.
Entries will be shortlisted to 10 images across the six categories with the winning
images being chosen by a panel of judges.
