Inquiry into the global drinks giant's tax affairs by South Korean government threatens its liquor licence.

Diageo faces losing its liquor licence in South Korea as a result of an inquiry into its tax affairs, according to reports.

An investigation into the drinks industry has been launched by the Korean government, looking at issues such as stockpiling and tax arrears.

Diageo had previously admitted to being under investigation but had stated it was not linked to tax issues.
