London City Bond newest Wine GB patron

Wine GB, the trade body for English and Welsh wine, has announced that bonded logistics provider London City Bond (LCB) is the organisation’s latest patron.

According to Wine GB the patronage of LCB will deliver “a meaningful upgrade to the everyday running of producer businesses”. This includes the use of bonded warehouses and storage.

It adds that “members will also benefit from access to LCB’s stillage systems”, which allows for “safer storage” and easier handling of higher volumes of wine.

Sales director at LCB David Hogg (pictured, centre) said: “We’re proud to become a Patron of Wine GB and to support producers at a pivotal moment of growth for the sector.

“Our services are designed to make operations smoother, safer and more scalable and we look forward to helping Wine GB members strengthen their logistics, reach new customers and build commercially resilient businesses.”

Neil Walker (pictured, far left), head of partnerships at Wine GB, added: “LCB’s patronage is a direct investment in our members’ success. Their bonded expertise, national reach and operational strength will help producers run simpler, more efficient businesses and unlock new commercial opportunities.”

Wine GB explained to Harpers that further details of the patronage could not be disclosed at this time.
