Chirac's cellar sold for 300,000

More than 350 bottles of fine wine collected by the former French president Jacques Chirac have been sold for 300,000.

The collection, which lies in the cellars of Paris City Hall, was sold to a South American businessman and the wines will be shipped to South America within a week.

The collection includes:

81 bottles of Chteau Margaux (1990, 95, 96)

12 dozen bottles of Chteau Haut-Brion

65 botles of Petrus

6 bottles of 1976 Krug
