Rmy Cointreau has reported a 24% increase in consolidated turnover for the first six months to 30 September over the same period last year, excepting Bols drinks. With turnover up to e480.8 million (288.4 million), all divisions' sales posted an increase, except for Champagne. Cognac sales were up 3% and liqueurs 6%. Spirits were stable, with a 9.6% increase in rum, and vodka in Poland up 19.5%. Massive destocking' saw Champagne shipments decline, although the company reports 8% growth in Piper-Heidsieck volumes.
