Albion Wine Shippers: Trainee Retail and On-Trade Sales Role

Working closely with our Managing Director and office manager, the right candidate will be involved in almost every facet of running and operating a busy wine company, including;

• Helping run logistics for daily order and deliveries
• Serving customers in a quiet but highly regarded wine shop
• Day to Day Accounts using Sage 50 Professional (experience preferred but not necessary)
• Developing and keeping updated Albion’s website offering
• Building-up Albion’s social media profile
• Running shop tastings and private event for retail customers
• Liaising with the sales team to ensure correct information is available for their customers
• Involvement in creating trade wine lists and running client trainings
• Organising Albion’s involvement in trade shows
• Involvement in the buying process from finding prospective wineries and

A successful candidate must have:

• Previous experience of working in the wine trade (WSET Level 2 preferred)
• A good knowledge of Microsoft office and general computer literacy
• A valid and clean drivers licence to help with deliveries when required
• Previous sales experience would enhance salary expectations
