Ooberstock secures on-trade I Heart Wines distribution deal

Online drinks distributor Ooberstock has signed a deal to become the official UK on-trade distributor of Copestick Murray’s I Heart Wines collection.

In addition to the distribution deal, the two companies have joined forces to develop a commercial wine portfolio, which will be sold into the UK on-trade by a team of dedicated wine professionals and delivered through the Ooberstock.com network.
Available now, the range will include Wilde Thing by Lisa McGuigan, Survivor, Chapel Hill, Mionetto Prosecco and i heart wines.

The partnership, part of a new strategy by Copestick Murray to strengthen its on-trade presence, was a “great fit” for both businesses, said Ooberstock managing director, Wayne Scrivener, adding Copestick Murray was “very much” the wine expert, while Ooberstock had the wholesale platform and customer base.

“The commercial wine range will open up new customers for Ooberstoc looking for wines to add to their restaurants, pubs and bar menus while giving Copestick Murray the platform to get their brands into market efficiently and use our network to access a far greater number of customers,” he said.
