On-demand delivery service Deliveroo has joined up with Heineken to launch a new brand through which consumers will be able to get beer and cider delivered direct to their door.
From November, Brew House will operate via the Deliveroo app across 15 sites in London, with plans to roll out nationwide by the end of the year.
In June, Deliveroo launched its first foray into the alcohol delivery market via partnerships with Majestic and BrewDog, further exploring direct-to-consumer retail routes.
The launch of Brew House is the first time a standalone alcohol brand has been created within the Deliveroo app.
Brew House will use the same model as Deliveroo's food delivery service, where off licenses and independent retailers will process customer orders for Heineken brands which will then be collected by Deliveroo riders and delivered to customers.
Simon Amor, off-trade sales director at Heineken said: "We are working with customers from our Star Retailer programme so that consumers can enjoy a cold beer or cider delivered straight to their door whether they are watching a match or just enjoying time with friends."
