Lanson releases limited edition Noble Cuvée Blanc de Blancs 2000

Published:  29 October, 2015

House of Lanson is to make its award-winning Noble Cuvée Blanc de Blancs 2000 available in the UK.

It will be available to a limited number of on-trade venues and retailers in time for the Christmas season.

The wine is a prestige Cuvée drawn exclusively from the Grand Cru vineyards of Avize and Cramant.

It recently won an Outstanding Gold Medal at the IWSC 2015, as well as three awards at the Japan Wine Challenge, including the trophies for Best Champagne/Sparkling Wine and Best French Wine.

The range also includes a Brut and Rosé. All are available in packaging designed to echo the Champagne bottles of the 18th century.

Lanson was founded in 1760.

Paul Beavis, managing director Lanson UK & International, said: "Our Noble Cuvée is the ultimate expression of the Champagne Lanson style. Over the last 30 years, only 10 vintages have been selected for the Noble Cuvée Brut and we are thrilled to have this stylish and superior Blanc de Blancs 2000 added to our core offering in time for the festive season."

Champagne Lanson Noble Cuvée Blanc de Blancs 2000 is available by the glass at venues such as Hotel du Vin, The Goring, The Chesterfield Mayfair, and St James's London.

In the off-trade, it will be available from The Drink Shop and other specialist outlets. It has an RRP of £120 to £130.

Lanson continues to consolidate its position as one of the two leading Champagne brands in the UK, despite the popularity of Prosecco.
