London's Beavertown Brewery has been named Supreme Champion Brewer in the 2015 International Beer Challenge run by Harpers' sister magazine Off Licence News.
The Supreme Champion tasting trophy went to Baden Baden Witbier from Brazil.

Chairman of the judges Jeff Evans said: "This part of the competition recognises consistency and the breadth of a brewer's portfolio. To win one medal in the IBC is no mean achievement.
"To pick up a number of medals really shows how skilful a brewer is and that all their efforts are not focused on just one headline product."

Best Ale up to 5% abv - Brewdog 5am Red Ale
Best Stout or Porter - Fyne Mills & Hills
Best Lager up to 5% abv - Edge Brewing Cool Hops Australian Lager
Best Lager above 5% abv - Baden Baden Bock
Best Speciality Beer - Samuel Adams Stony Brook Red
Best Wheat Beer - Baden Baden Witbier
Evans said: "Everyone knows how exciting the beer world has become and this has been underlined by the findings of our judges.
"Our seven trophy-winning beers in the tasting awards have come from five different countries and four different continents, and from long-established breweries as well as new. "Our judges were seriously impressed with what was presented to them. It's a wonderful illustration of how great it is to be a beer drinker and a beer retailer today."

Design and packaging chairman Paul Foulkes-Arellano, from design company Seymour Powell, said: "As always the judging was intense, and in 2015 we were probably harsher and harder on the entries than ever before. The best work came from some quite unexpected and new brands, and the winning entries were brave and bold."
