William Grant & Sons EMEA managing director Gordon Dron has decided to leave the company following a restructure.
William Grant & Sons Europe, Middle East and Africa managing director Gordon Dron has decided to leave the company following a restructure.
In a statement the company said it was "disappointed" with Dron's decision to leave "following a restructure of the branded business".
Dron joined William Grant & Sons in April 2006 as MD, Southern Europe and was promoted to the role of MD, Europe and became a member of the executive committee. In November 2010, he became MD, EMEA.
The company said in a statement: "His leadership resulted in increased profitability in all core brands including Hendricks in Spain and Grants in France. He also led the successful integration of Tullamore Dew into all the key routes to market across EMEA...
"We wish Gordon every success in the future."
