Global tennis superstar Roger Federer is the new face of Moët & Chandon and will take a starring role in the brand's new advertising campaign which kicks off in March 2013.
The 17-time Grand Slam champion said that being the Champagne's brand ambassador was "more than just an honour".
"It's an invitation to be part of a very glamorous tradition. Moët & Chandon has always been the Champagne of international trendsetters and I'm proud to be part of a brand that is as dedicated to the pursuit of excellence as I have been throughout my career."
Stéphane Baschiera, chief executive of Moët & Chandon, said: "Roger Federer personifies the glamour of achievement, great generosity and tremendous style values that have been key to our House throughout its long history. As the Champagne of victory and an enthusiastic supporter of major tennis tournaments around the world, we are extremely proud to welcome Roger Federer with Moët & Chandon's hallmark hospitality."
The brand has teamed up with renowned photographer Patrick Demarchelier to shoot a series of pictures of the star.
Moët & Chandon already has a strong allegiance to tennis, as an active sponsor of the ATP World Tour and ATP World Tour Finals, the French Open, the Shanghai Masters and the US Open, among others.
