Published:  07 March, 2012

The creator and founder of Bristol and Bath's food festivals Love Food, has launched a Love Wine Festival, that aims to focus on natural wines and English producers, and showcase local merchants.

Lorna Knapman, will follow the ethos of Love Food, at the event to be held on May 13 in Bristol and bring together over 30 wine producers and merchants to provide consumers with the opportunity to discover and enjoy wine and food matches.

Wine expert, Angela Mount, will run wine tasting and food and wine matching masterclasses throughout the day.

Knapman, says: 'We believe that Angela's knowledge and enthusiasm for wine, along with Love Food's unique and friendly atmosphere will create the perfect recipe for people to enjoy learning about wine without feeling intimidated.

"The aim of the event is to inspire festival goers with some fantastic, sustainable and affordable wines, with workshops and masterclasses throughout the day."

Restaurants and eateries, including 'Bells Diner' and 'Sam's Kitchen Deli' will be serving sample portions of their signature dishes to match wines on offer.

It will take place in  the Paintworks in Bristol lovefoodfestival.com/lovewine.html
