New master distiller for Jack Daniel's

Published:  23 July, 2008

Jeff Arnett has been named as the new master distiller at Jack Daniel's.

The 41-year-old will replace Jimmy Bedford who retired last month. Arnett will be the seventh master distiller in the company's history.

He said: "I fully understand the huge shoes that I'll be stepping into and can't begin to express my appreciation to those who have entrusted me with this position.

"It's been a privilege to work with Jimmy Bedford and learn the trade over the past several years."

Arnett began his career at the Jack Daniel Distillery seven years ago in quality control where he oversaw Jack Daniel's Single Barrel.

Prior to that, he worked as a production manager and engineer in the food and beverage industry for more than a decade.
