Lyme Bay winery in Devon has added to its range of seasonal wines with a new Christmas Pudding-inspired lauch.
The Shute-based producer’s new Christmas Pudding Wine is being released ahead of the Christmas period and is part of a seasonal range of wines which are now looking ahead to the festive period (RRP £8.49).
The release is a follow-up to Lyme Bay's Mulled Wine, a blend of damson, elderberry, festive spices, taken from the landscape surrounding the Devon-based winery.
Also being released is a miniature wines gift box in time for Christmas, featuring a selection of elderberry, elderflower, blackberry, ginger & sloe country wines.
The winery, which was founded 1992, is known for its crisp still wines, having won Best Still Bacchus at this year’s updated UK Wine Awards.
Another notable coup for the producer came in June, when it received a Grade A rating from the BRC Global Standards, which recognised best practice, quality and safety in the industry.
As yet, Lyme Bay remains the only English wine producer to hold a nod from the BRC.
