The third outing of The Drinks Wholesaler Roadshow will roll into Edinburgh on June 28, building on the momentum of our inaugural Manchester and Windsor events.
Designed to reach the parts of the country that many other tastings and events fail to cover, the Roadshow will bring debate, tastings and networking to Scotland's leading wholesalers, merchants and on-trade operators.
This afternoon event, running from midday to 18.00, will kick off with an exclusive gin masterclass courtesy of the experts at the Gin Foundry, where the myriad flavour profiles and full potential of this explosive growth area for businesses will be explored.
The backbone of the event will be focused flights of wines, craft beers and premium spirits, presented by suppliers who will be showing only exclusive labels for quality focused independents and on-trade, with this walkabout tasting open all afternoon.
Furthermore, at 15.30, Drinks Wholesaler editor Andrew Catchpole will lead a discussion forum with key figures from the Scottish drinks trade entitled Reinvigorating the Offer. This will examine ways in which wholesalers can better work with their accounts to ensure the drinks proposition is kept fresh and engaging for customers, with further input invited during an interactive audience session.
