The French Independent Winegrowers fair will be returning to the Royal Horticultural Halls in London for a fifth year on February 6th, 2014.
The fair will have 80 winegrowers representing ten different wine regions, with over 130 different appellations and 260 different wines to try.
Olivier Brun of Château de Brigue, said "It will my second time in London for French Winegrowers event and I am looking forward to the 2014. The reason is the quality of British visitors and our interest of rosé market. I have several ranges of AOC Provence Rosé, but also will be presenting a new cuvée Elixir de Brigue and Heritage a new red wine. I am excited about the UK market and had great success finding an importer last year."
The event is organized by the French Trade Commission Ubifrance, in partnership with "Vignerons Indépendants de France", an association of more than 7, 000 producers. An independent winegrower is actively implicated in each step of the winemaking process, from the vine to the wine maturing in bottle. This fair is an opportunity for the producers to showcase their wines and import to the UK on-trade as well s other independent merchants and importers.
As independent winegrowers, these producers are directly involved with the commercialization of the end product and can guarantee the provenance of their wines.
