Chief executive officer, Guillaume Deglise, is shaking things up this year with the fair's theme being "Taste the Unexpected".

As well as adding an area to the show called 'The Spiritual Bar' which will have mixologists on hand featuring different cocktails and spirits brands throughout the chow.

Another big focus of this year's event will be the US market, which is named as the County of Honour at the fair. The show will offer in-depth insights into the country that has become the world's largest wine consuming market.

Napa Valley Vintners will also be making their debut at the fair which imbruing over two dozen of their vintners that belong to association to help showcase wines from the region. This is the first time that association will have its own stand.

A major upgrade for the fair this year will also be the easy access for those attending as a new extension to the tram line system will take attendees directly into Le Lac exhibition halls.
