The Wine and Spirit Education Trust has announced this afternoon the sudden death of marketing manager Chris Kelly.
Kelly, a hugely popular, engaging and passionate member of the wine trade, died suddenly on August 27 and the WSET has said all its "sympathies are with Chris's family at this sad time". Further details surrounding the funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
Kelly had over 19 years experience of marketing in the drinks and retail industry. He had been a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing since 2002 and became an associate member of the Chartered Management Institute in 2007. He joined the WSET in 2007 and had previously been spent many years at Unwins where he had worked his way up to marketing manager.
