Billecart-Salmon UK has appointed on-trade specialist Chris Crosby to the role of vice president.
Working closely with MD Colin Palmer, Crosby has been brought on board to help extend Billecart-Salmon’s network in the London on-trade, as well as members’ clubs, luxury hotels and to nurture and develop existing partnerships.
Crosby, who takes on his new position with immediate effect, brings nearly 10 years of experience, boasting a diverse background in the on-trade with a strong emphasis on luxury.
Crosby’s experience, connections and charisma made him the ideal candidate to help Billecart-Salmon expand its reach in the UK and further afield, said CEO Mathieu Roland-Billecart.
His career began at Hakkasan as part of the team that relaunched the Ling Ling brand, he then went on to join The Arts Club, where he was instrumental in the opening of this renowned private members club.
Most recently, Crosby was global sales and marketing director for COYA - a group of Peruvian restaurants with eateries in London, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Crosby said: “I am delighted to have joined this most prestigious of Champagne brands, especially in the wake of such an exciting year celebrating its 200th anniversary. It will be an honour to work with the UK team and to spread the word on the amazing champagnes in our portfolio.”
