The much-lauded wine bar Terroirs has revealed it hopes to open a second site in central London next year.

The much-lauded wine bar Terroirs has revealed it hopes to open a second site in central London next year.

The news comes following this week's official opening of Downstairs at Terroirs, in central London, which doubled the restaurant's capacity.

Doug Wregg, sales and marketing director at Les Caves de Pyrene and a partner in Terroirs told Harpers: "At the moment we are definitely imagining a second site next year but where it is and what it will be is up in the air."
He confirmed the second wine bar would be in central London and focus on organic and biodynamic wines.

Nigel Sutcliffe, a partner at Terroirs added: "We have ambitions to grow and show more terroir specific food and wine. What we would like to do is look at something more regionally specific such as the Loire Valley."
