Mentzendorff agrees Roda deal

Mentzendorff have been appointed agents for Spanish winery Bodegas Roda. It is the first time that the winery has been represented in the UK by an agent, and Mentzendorff MD Andrew Hawes said: This is a great opportunity for their wines to become known to a wider audience.'
Roda's wines are Roda I, Roda II (to be renamed just Roda after the '02 vintage), and the award-winning Cirsion.

Henriques & Henriques (H&H), the premium Madeira producer, has moved to the Mentzendorff portfolio in an exclusive arrangement. A spokesman for the agency said: This expansion builds upon the foundation of the Fladgate Partnership Port brands and the more recently introduced Hidalgo-La Gitana premium Manzanillas.'
Mentzendorff's fortified wine consultant, Joanna Delaforce, will manage the brand.
