Mornington Peninsula, one of Australia's finest cool-climate regions, will be the venue for the Pinot Noir Celebration 2003. The programme, from 1-2 February, features guest wineries from Australia, France, New Zealand and the US, international speakers, panel sessions and Pinot Noir tastings from a wide range of wineries. The keynote speaker is James Halliday, one of Australia's most respected wine writers and judges, who said, I am convinced that the best Australian Pinot Noirs can challenge those from any other part of the world, even Burgundy.'
