The second Salone del Vino, an all-Italian wine trade-only exhibition, takes place in Turin from 22-25 November. Organiser Lingotto Fiere says 37 of Italy's consorzi (wine consortiums) and more than 1,000 wine estates from Piedmont, Tuscany, Veneto and Friuli will be showcasing their wines, along with the emerging regions of Lazio, Puglia, Campania and Sicily. Special emphasis is being given to new wine trends, new winemakers and new Italian wines. The Salone del Vino will be collaborating with the likes of Enoteca Italiana, Unione Italiana Vini, Confagricoltura, Associazione Italiana Sommelier and Movimento Turismo del Vino. Workshops and seminars will feature top producers such as Angelo Gaja and themes on wine and business' and wine and food'.
