The Coe Group of Companies has announced a number of changes across its portfolio in structure and personnel.
Former Coe Vintners managing director, John Coe, will assume the role of chairman for the group with immediate effect, whilst Matt Davies, who had previously shared the role of managing director, now takes sole responsibility for Coe Vintners.
Chariman, John Coe says: "This change in my role allows me to become fully involved in all areas of the group business whilst evaluating new opportunities and further acquisitions. Matt Davies has proved himself to be extraordinarily capable in the role of managing director and he will continue to drive the business forward.
Coe also announced some changes to Barwell & Jones, the premium wine wholesale & agency business purchased 18 months ago by the group. It will now become the primary wine agency for the Coe Group of Companies.
He added: "These are exciting times for Coe Vintners. We are seeing strong growth throughout the different business areas. I hope to have a number of further announcements shortly."
Currently celebrating 80 years of business the company inludes Coe Vintners, IDS, IDS Dubai, Barwell & Jones and Mangrove.
