Durius opens first London restaurant

Published:  29 August, 2010

The Durius Café restaurant chain has opened its first branch in London, following the launch of four in Spain.

This project is the work of the Marqués de la Concordia wine brand, and overseen by Spanish chef Sergi Arola.

The restaurant aims to bring quality food to the general public at affordable prices.

The wines which will be served at the Durius River Café, on the Thames opposite the Tate Modern, are provided by Hacienda Unamuno under the name Durius Natural Reserve.

The menu will also include an extensive offer of wines from the Marqués de la Concordia label, as well as wines from Rioja and Rueda.
