Stratford's takes on triple trophy winner
Stratford's Wine Agencies has been appointed as UK distributor to Rioja's Lar de Paula, which scooped three International Wine Challenge trophies for its Lar de Paula Cepas Viejas 2005.
Stratford's Wine Agencies has been appointed as UK distributor to Rioja's Lar de Paula, which scooped three International Wine Challenge trophies for its Lar de Paula Cepas Viejas 2005.
Lar de Paula Cepas Viegas 2005 was awarded the IWC Spanish Red Trophy, Tempranillio Trophy and the Rioja Alavesa Trophy in London last week.
Managing director Paul Stratford said: "Lar De Paula produces wonderful fruit forward wines for early consumption, but which have good aging potential also, and has a range of labels from the more traditional through to modern and sleek."
A range of the Lar de Paula wines will be on show at Seek the Sensation Basque Wine tasting on Wednesday (July 7) at Lord's Cricket Ground.
Stratford's will be representing three brands from Lar de Paula: Baron de Baroja, Cautivo and Lar de Paula. All wines will be available from Stratford's from the end of this month.
