Blossom Hill's Wimbledon campaign wins award

Blossom Hill's sponsorship of last year's Wimbledon Tennis Championships has won it a gold medal in the alcoholic drinks category of the annual Promotional Marketing Awards.

Its campaign 'Let Play Begin at Wimbledon with Blossom Hill' - which was created by The Pulse Group on behalf of Blossom Hill's owner Percy Fox - impressed judges with its "complete package".

The campaign looked to position Blossom Hill Rose as the "official wine of Wimbledon" by playing to the optimism of the country as it got behind British players.

Figures showed sales were up 135% year-on-year.

Later this month Blossom Hill will be the official wine of Wimbledon for the fourth successive year.
